The Liquid Skin Ensemble is a 7-member post-minimalist acoustic/electric chamber ensemble that has been performing composer Steve Moshier’s work, extensively in Southern California, for over 14 years. Previous performances have included evenings at the Getty Center, the Luckman Theater at Cal State LA, Highways Performance Space, the John Anson Ford Theater, the Japan America Theater, Los Angeles Theater Center and international exposure with Hae Kyung Lee’s Dancers at the LG Arts Center in Seoul, Korea in 2004. In 2007 and 2008 the group headlined the Real New Music Festival in Whittier, California. Most recently the group has collaborated with the Rudy Perez Performance Ensemble, Heidi Duckler's Dance Theatre, and the movement/dance duo Naked With Shoes. Recent performances include the Thomas Solomon and the Andrew Shire Galleries in Los Angeles, CA.

These tracks are recorded live and are not without flaws in their unbridled execution and beauty.

This is in keeping with previous Innocent Hands Recordings: "Cartesian Reunion Memorial Orchestra" and "Shadows from the Underworld - The Acoustic Landscape".
